Fun Mathematics

As a teacher, increase an interest in Mathematics among pupils is one of my main challenge.

In this post, i share some the information regarding how to make the mathematics become fun and subsequently can improve the interest of pupils.

1. Animation and Songs

Animation always a good tool to attract the pupils attention.

Showing a video clips before starting a lesson definitely can increase the interest of pupils to learning. Besides, it can make the lesson become easy to be understand.

Sing a song can also make the pupils easy to memories the important note.

  

The video above can let pupils more easily to understand "fraction" and the term "numerator" and "denominator". 

2. Fun quiz 

Let have fun quiz in the class, this can let the pupils scratching their head a bit and make the classroom environment become more fun.

How about let us try this....
Take 1000 and add 40 to it.


Now add another 1000.


Now add another 30. Another 1000.


Now add 20. Now add another 1000. Now add 10.


What is the total?
What is your answer by just using your head not pen/paper/calculator?
Did you get 5000?
